Zoya Limited Edition Trio Blogger Collection Striped Nail Art

Haay ladies so as you know Christmas is soon approaching & work at the mall has been ridiculously crazy! I did these a few days ago but literally had no time to post them 😞 so finally I'm off till Boxing Day 😡 which is gunna be hell! But I'm glad I get some time to my nails cause work has seriously done quite a number on these babies is you haven't noticed 😥 seriously need some tlnc ❤️

I wasn't so happy with this mani though.. I loved the thought of the design with the colours but once I started using them I already knew it wasn't going to end well.. The colours are beautiful don't get me wrong & I will use them again but just on their own..

They are all VERY thin polishes and had i to do 3 coats for each colour & nail & I can still see my nail tips right rough it! 😡 & the sad thing is I love Zoya I've had absolutely nothing bad to say about their formula I have others that I adore but these not so much.. Maybe that's just the way their supposed to be. Just a 'light polish' 😟

❄️Freehand SnowFlake Nail Art❄️

Hi loveees! I've got another snowflake mani for yall today! But instead I stamped it's freehand! 😄 I was exited to try this cause I am not good at freehanding & especially with my left hand! But I had no choice seeing as thought my right hand nails are a little uneven.. Waiting for my middle finger to catch up to the rest.. So it was some good practice for me.

First I used two coats of Julep - Linden.
Then with my nail art brush I used China Glaze - Spring Into My Step to create my snowflake. Then I used one OPI Hexagon Glitter in the middle of the snowflake to make it a little more fun! Hope you all enjoy!

Happy polishing ! ❤️💅😘

Holly Jolly Christmas Nail Art !

Hi lovelies! Soo sorry I've been away for so long, work has been crazy busy with the starting of the Christmas Season & our mall hours extending 😔 anywho I finally got some time in to do my nails! & this is what I came up with!

Of course I painted every other nail red & green & then I used the holly jolly bell on BornPrettyStore's 01 stamping plate on both of my ring fingers. Then took my red&white confetti polish (noname) and painted it on my index fingers only. Then using 4 pieces of striping tape on each red nail (pinky, middle, thumb) I went with a candy cane design using my green & white. Then I topped it off with my favorite top coat !
Hope you all enjoyed !

Christmas Party Nail Art 🎄🎉

Hi lovelies! I'm back with another mani for ya today! Something that I'm pretty sure we'll all have to go to this Christmas season .. A Christmas Party!

I started out with 2 coats of O.P.I - I'm Not Really A Waitress on my pinky & middle finger, then did two coats of Sally Hansen - Wedding Glitters on my ring finger & thumbs & lastly but not least ! Two coats of Julep - Diamond Theory.

Once it was all dried I took my O.P.I - I'm Not Really A Waitress & my nail art brush & made 2 diamonds coming down the middle of my ring finger. Then with my white nail art polish I made two lines creating an X on each diamond. I did this on my thumbs as well. Let dry for at least 10 minutes to avoid smudging when applying your favourite top coat!

That's it ladies now your ready to party! Hope you all enjoyed!

Happy Polishing! ❤️💅

❄️SnowFlake Nail Art❄️

Hi lovees! Yesterday I received my BornPrettyStore Christmas Stamping Plate #01 & I just could wait to try it out!

I started out with two coats of Deborah Lippmanns Jessa, let it dry, then I moved on to the stamping. I originally was going to do white snow flakes but my whites were all goopy & wouldn't scrape properly off the stamping plate, so I went with Sally Hansens Celeb City & topped it off with BellaPierre Glitter Snow top coat.
Hope you all enjoy !
Happy Poluhing ! 💅❤️❄️

❄️ Warm & Toasty Turtleneck meets Snow ❄️

November 17th, 2014

Hi dolls! Got a super easy mani / swatch for you all today!
I used Essie - Warm & Toasty Turtleneck
& LM polish that is shown below that has no colour name.
I used 2 coats for Essie which I must say I love, it's on a more darker side of your average lavender it's more lilac-y to me but either way it's absoloutly gorgeous.
I decided to top it off with the polish shown below.

For this polish I used one coat but dabbed a bit more on each finger
To get more flakes on it..
After that I let them dry for 10 minutes & topped it off with my favourite top coat
❤️ Seche Vite ❤️

Happy polishing ❤️

Stained Glass Floral Nail Art

November 10th, 2014

Haay beaaauts ! So I've got a super colorful & super pretty nail art to show y'all today!
As you will see below, I started out with a white base so the colors would stand out more & and then ofcourse i stamped in black. The stamping plate I used is by BornPrettyStore BORNPRETTY 03
So that is what it looked like before the stained glass came into effect!
Now to create the stained glass effect I used 5 different colors all by julep, you can find the polish names below.. I started out with my red, coloring one flower on each nail, trying not to have it in the same place on each nail then continued to do the same with the other three colors. But then their were still white spaces & they were clearly not flowers so of course I figured green for leaves ! 😉
& Vola !

Snow Leopard Nail Art !

November 07th, 2014

Hi my beaauuts! Today I've got a sorta wintery nail art to show ya!
Its getting awfully cold very quickly here in Toronto but I felt it was waay to early to do a christmasy nail deaign but so cold it feels were already there! There has been a few days were its actually flurrying already! So I thought this was more than sutible.

First I obviously started out with my base being the white.
Once that was dry, I took my gray brush & dabbed little spots around every nail til I was satisfied.
Then on a small notepad I put a drop of black polish at a time so I don't waste as so much when it starts to dry.
Then with my nail art brush I dab it into the black polish and sorta create little c's around each gray spot. Some fully circled some only half, whatever suits your preference !
Once your done that step you may find you have too many white spaces, in that case.. Dab your nail art brush into the black again and make dots &/ lines to fill in the extra space.
Top off with your favorite top coat once dry!

Hope you all enjoyed !
Happy Polishing !

Merlot Maigc & Mauve Rose Swatchees

Hi my loveliees ! Today I've got two beautiful swatches to show you! They are both from Polish My Life's 'Wine & Chocolate' Collection !
And they are just GORGEOUUS ! ❤❤

First up is 'Merlot Magic'
Merlot Magic has got me speachless! Its so beautiful I'm lost for words.. The shimmer in it is to dye for!
By faaar my favorite black. && the formula is wonderful! It has suuch a creamy texture to the polish that I love, it applys so nicely & if you get enough on the brush one coat will do you just fine!
1 Coat

 Next up is 'Mauve Rose'
I really wish I could have captured the gorgeous shimmer this polish has to it a lot better, this picture does not justify it whatsoever!!
But just as 'Merlot Magic' the formula is super creamy & very easy to apply! I barely had any cleanup !

🍁 Autumn Tree Nail Art 🍁

November 02, 2014

🍁 Autumn Trees 🍁
Hi my loveliees ! So I had shown you a swatch of this lovely color yesterday and really wanted to do some fall nail art but didn't want to take the polish off so quickly after I had jus put it on!
So I was back to the drawring board until this beautiful tree i always see through my living room window had caught my attention, then I knew what to do & still keep this gorgeous Nude Lace on.
So I started out with dotting the stump until I was satisfied, then I started dotting my yellow leaves first, then the orange, than red. Once all color leaves are down you may want to add a few more to even out the colors ( too much yellow not enough red )
So you get the idea !
& if you'd like to give it a bit more of an effect
Dot some falling leaves off to the side of both trees.

Nude Lace Swatch & Review !

November 02, 2014

Hi lovelies!
So I recently made my first purchase on some
Indie Polishes & my brand of choice was
Polish My Life.
& wow am I amazed. For a homemade product the formula is to dye for. Its thick & creamy & just lovely.
It dries within a reasonable amount of time & the color is by far the best beige/nude I've ever owned.
If you get enough polish on the brush you won't even need 2 coats! It's amazing.
I've got two more colors to try out that are from her new Wine & Chocolate Collection so stay tuned !

Enchanted Forest

October 27th, 2014

Enchanted Forest Nail Art
Hi dolls, so my take on the dark weekly challenge for thd Nail Polish Queens Community on G+. This mani had a lot to do with a hit series call Once Upon A Time, about all your regular fairy tales but not the way we remember them that's for sure. I've been binge watching for a few weeks now starting from season 1. Their is currently I think a 4th season on tv at the moment. So obviously I was inspired by the Enchanted Forest . Sometimes full of light but always dark when the Evil Queen is around which is most of the time haha.
Hope you all likee it !

Im not so good with free handing pumpkins & ghosts so I decided to keep my Halloween nail art  simple yet affective

Dripping Blood Nail Art

October 21st, 2014

Dripping Blood Nail Art!
Hello my beauuts.
Boy do i have a bloody day to tell you about ....
It all started with a young woman painting her nails..
She chose the color red because Halloween was soon approaching .. Little did she know halloween had cone early for her.. As she decided to paint her accent nail a silver startdust, something evil knocked over her bottle of red leaving not the polish but actual blood stains all over her hands and was left with this picture as a little reminder for every halloween to come..

I hope you all enjoyed !

🎃 Candy Corn French Tip Nail Art 🎃

October 19th, 2014

Candy Corn Nail Art.

Heey dolls ! Today I've got a super easy & super yummy looking nail art for ya! I was inspired by a image on Google, unfortunately the artist did not copy right her work so I cannot give her the proper
credit id like too. But needless to say this isn't my original design, I'm simply recreating for the Halloween Season !

All you need are your candy corn colors & french tip guides if you cant freehand a french tip like me 😜
Start out by paiting your ring finger & thumb all white
Then place your french tip guides along your index, middle, & pinky and paint white.
Once dry, i took a thin nailbart brush & started painting my orange lines on every nail, reapeat again with the yellow until your satisfied with your work.

Easy peasy, super fun & almost edible !

Interview Appropriate Nails

October 15th, 2014

Hi beauuties!
Soo I've recently been handing out a lot of resumes,
looking for a new job & finally got a call.
Tomorrow is the big day & I new I needed a polish change. I didn't want anything to darastic nor bright so I went simple yet elegant with the Black French Tip.
You can never go wrong with a French Tip, Their always so pleasant to see but also very proffessional looking when on a job interview.

I used french tip guides because I still haven't mastered it free hand, & was is a hurry to do them so could take the time to practice. I know I won't have time to do them tomorrow so I did them quickly tonight.

❤ Wish me luck everyone! ❤

Breast Cancer Awareness Nail Art

October 03rd, 2014

Haay dolls. Finally October is here.. & I'm already seeing a lot of great Halloween Nail Art already! I'll get to that soon but it's still a bit early for me. So for now I'd like to focus of Breast Cancer because october is the official month of Breast Cancer Awareness. I know two very strong & faithful women have survived this horrible disease so the least I owe them is a beautiful manicure to show my support for them & all other women trying to survive this disease.
This is my first go at a Breast Cancer nail art & I'm very pleased. We all know I'm not good at freehand so instead of drawing the Breast Cancer Ribbon I decided to make it out of rhinestones. Also I used two tones of pink because you always see two shades of pink on every sign/symbol directed to Breast Cancer.
My last thought has got to be to all you strong ladies who have survived or are battling this disease right now. I wish you all the best & stay strong women !
This world needs a lot more strong women & all of you are that. My prayers are with you.

Love & Hope

Chevron Nail Art .. Then & Now

September 24, 2014

Hello lovelies !
I was so excited when I read this weeks challenge for the Nail Polish Queens Community !
I've been wanting to re create this mani for quite some time now & this gave me the perfect excuse to do it!
I first did this design in September of 2013 so one year later girls! You can see the older photo below or here
I decided to go with a different base color seeing as though we are now into fall :( cold is on the way girls!
Haha && I also decided to freehand the chevrons instead of using tape as I did last time.
So it truly is quite the improvement for me.. New base, freehand chevron, longer nails, WAY better cuticles & better photos !!
Hope you all enjoyed !

Chevron is one of my most favorite nail arts to do. Their are so many different ways to make chevron look chic or tribal or pretty much anything!
Hehe ..

Lucy's Stash Inspired

September 10th, 2014

Hey dolls !
So I finally got some time in to do this weeks challenge for the G+ Nail Polish Queens Community!
For this mani I was inspired by
Lucy's Stash freehand lace nail art
& I must say she did one hell of a job..
The design reminded me of a cloth that you'd see on coffee tables & stuff so I fell in love.
Although it was very tricky to do.
I used acrylic paint instead of polish .. Hoping it would make it eaiser to do but it didn't , haha .
overall tho I like the outcome of mine & it was very good practice on free handing !
Hope you all enjooy !

Marc Jacobs HONEY Inspired

September 03rd, 2014

Marc Jacobs HONEY Inspired Manicure

Hello everyone ! Today I've got a super cool mani to show you!
& it was inspired by a new perfume I got by
Marc Jacobs HONEY
& as soon as I opened up the box I knew it would make a great mani.
Who knew such a little bottle could have so many ideas ?
So for a while I started jotting down design ideas until I had a design for every finger.
Each nail is a design from either the box or the bottle.
I must say I am very proud of myself for doing this all on my own. I usually always head straight to google for a little help or inspiration. But this was all me ladies!
Haha .. But I must mention the bee could have been drawn a little better..
But we all know my free handing skills are not the greatest so it had to do.
But overall I love it, it captures every design on both bottle & box of the perfume
& smells amazing too!

Hope you all enjoyed!

Zebra Print Water Marble !
Inspired by
ProfessionalDQ on YouTube.

I've been really wanting to do a water marble
for quite some time now, seeing as that's
what got me into loving nail art in the first place!
I absolutely love how many design you can create with water marble & watnted to do something a bit more original and uncommon. So upon searching & searching
for a great water marble I came across ProfessionalDQ's
Purple Zebra Print Water Marble video on YouTube.
I absolutely fell in love with it & had to give it a try!
So I want to thank her for having such a great idea!

Interlocking Dots Nail Art !

August 22nd, 2014

Hello everyone! Today's mani was inspired by the amazing
Google+ Nail Polish Queens Community's Weekly Challenge
Every Thursday they have a different challenge for you!
&& this weeks challenge was Interlocking Dots !
I've never even heard nor seen this design before ! So I was definitely interested in giving it a try.
But since I did a dotticure a few posts ago I wasn't really in the dotty mood so I kept this mani simple by only doing the accent nail.
This design is actually a lot more tricky than I had expected.
Once I had my blue down on half my nail I went ahead with the dots but you've got to be very precise on where you put each dot .. Which I wasn't so it could have been done a lot better.
Check out google images for some great pictorials on how to do your own interlocking dots manicure!
Hope you all enjoyed !

Julep Flower Nail Art w. DIY Nail Decals !

 August 20th, 2014
Julep Flower Nail Art using DIY Nail Decals!
Read below for more on how to create your own !

Haay ladieees ! I'm back again with a pretty cool technique today!
I was inspired by Julep's Flower Logo & used the polishes I received in my Bombshell Maven Box this month!
To do the logo was a little tricky for me..
I knew I would not be able to free hand it nor free hand cutting it out from the decal so I drew it out on a piece of paper and once satisfied I used it as a tracer onto the decal to make it a lot easier to cut out.. Once I did that I drew the lines to make it look more like a flower & this is the end result !
Hope you all like it !!

Polishes used ;
Julep - Neha
Julep - Tazeen

So for the DIY Nail Decals all you need is ;
Your polish of choice
Ziploc baggies
Tweezers
 Scissors
& a Top Coat

Steps;
1. Place your ziploc baggie flat out on a table and begin painting squares with your polish of choice. How many squares you paint all depends on how many decals you'll make or how much mistakes you'll make haha.
2. Let the polish sit and dry for about 2 hours.
3. Take your tweezers & gently peel off the square.
( you should notice the bottom is sticky like a sticker )
4. Take your scissors & begin cutting out your design.
5. Once satisfied with your design place over your finger of choice & seal with a top coat !

 August 13th, 2014

Red & Blue Polka Dot Nails !

Hey loveees !
I've got a super easy mani to show you today!
All you need is a dotting tool & to have fun !
My inspiration as you may see, was this cute little Shopper's Drug Mart Bag!
I use this bag quite regularly to do quick groceries & such, but yesterday I didn't know what design to do..
Looked around my room and this bag I use almost everyday just caught my eye on it & I knew what to do.
Its a very simple mani but it's cute & very colorful for the summer hope you all enjoyed ! Don't forget to ..

August 01st, 2014

Hey lovelieees !
So today's Mani was inspired by a picture that
I found on google images that was done by Spektor's Nails ! So this is not my own design, i simply got inspired & re created.
I must say though the original is so much better
than mine. I just can't seem to make straight
lines no matter how hard I try & practice.
But I still think its okay & good enough to
 be posted on here.

Denim Nails !
Hey lovelies , today I have for you a weekly challenge
From the Nail Polish Queens Community which if you haven't
already guessed, is Denim!
This was my very first go at denim nails & quite proud
of how they turned out :)
I didn't have a kit or anything , but I did get my inspiration from
She had a very good pictorial on how she created the effect.
After painting the base coat, she took a towel and used it as a
sponge to sponge on the White & then again with the Blue after.
I think I did pretty well for my first try :)

Spun Sugar Nail Art!

 June 08th, 2014

Hi everyone!
Today I have a Spun Sugar Nail Art to show you.
This was my first time trying this technique & I loved it !
It wasn't as messy as I thought it would be and a lot of fun to do!
I started out by painting each nail the opposite color than the other
& spun sugar with the other color !
Sadly i couldn't get the polish to string that well
across my whole nail , But I think it looks pretty decent otherwise.
In the first picture above the mani is without a top coat
& the picture below with a top coat.
Personally I like it without the top coat better.
I think it gives you the real feel of the design
& an actual spun sugar look.

Polishes used ;

Hope you all like my try at Spun Sugar Nail Art!

So I finally decided to do my toes after what feels like almost a year of being in hiding!
Its finally flipflop weather here in Toronto, & I was really tired of seeing my boring ugly toenails haha.
For this pedi I was inspired by a picture I found on Google Images, the lady did not copyright her image so I cannot give her the proper credit I liked too.
But I just loved the original I had to do it on my own!

Hope you all love it too!! :)

Quilted Nail Art

June 04th, 2014

Quilted Nails!

Hello lovelies ! So I loved the idea of this weeks challenge on the Nail Polish Queens Community on G+ but I didn't have much ideas color wise.. to my liking anyways, lol so I stuck with a shimmery nude/pink & added the quilted design on the accent nail. I loved how it looked before I added in the sparkles.. I think the polish was just a bit too clumpy. I really wish I had my recent haul from and hour ago earlier today when I was doing these bad boys! It woulda looked alot better I think with the opi sparkles I got.
Ohwelll it still looks alright for a first try ..
But check out these sparkles below
& tell me if you think they'd make the Mani look better ?
